Rehabilitation of persons with head injuries

This is a new program at the Institute, designed for adults with the consequences of an accidental head injury, which permanently deprives them of the normal conduct of biopsychosocial functions, consequently they need an integrated continuous assistance and support.

The program was launched in 2009. It is performed in the institutional form, which includes residential accommodation.

Users benefit from various treatments, depending on their needs. The program includes the following treatments:

• Medical care and protection,
• Physiotherapy,
• Occupational therapy,
• Speech therapy,
• Psychosocial care,
• Educational program,
• Employment under special conditions and
• Protection.
