Hippotherapy is intended for people (children, adolescents and adults) with disorders in the posture and movement of various origins:

- Dysmelija (congenital disfigurement of extremities),

- Back problems,
- Scoliosis,
- Muscular balance disorder (eg. sheet after amputation),
- Gait abnormality.
- OBJECTIVE: To improve neurological movement disorders.
- General regulation of muscle tone,
- Stretch of shortened muscles,
- Alignment of the torso and control of the torso,
- Training selective movements of the pelvis,
- Training and the establishment of independent stance and balancing reactions,
- Activating the reactions of the torso which are specific for walking,
- Symmetrical stance and reciprocal movement of the pelvis,
- Improving the balance and coordination,
- Learning sensory perception,
- Learning coordination and improving the differentiation of individual muscle groups,
- Control of the head (facilitation of controlling the head, which affects the control of the mouth, salivation, feeding and speech),
- Functional mobilization of joints,
- Breathing exercises,
- Prevention of contractures.
